Okay… I know everyone likes wings. Here is a very simple way to make them on your Big Green Egg.
(1) lemon and (1) lime
8-oz can tomato sauce
6-oz can frozen orange juice concentrate,thawed
(2) minced garlic cloves
(1) tsp dried Italian seasoning
This is very easy to do add everything to a large bowl and mix.
Use zest from lime and the lemon and add to mix.
Squeeze juices from both lemon and lime into marinade mix.
Once everything is mixed together, add wings and let stand overnight in the fridge.
Prepare your Egg for indirect cooking at 400 degrees and add hickory chips if you like.
Once on the Egg, you can use Dizzy’s Red Eye Express. This is a coffee-infused rub.
After about 4 to 6 minutes, flip and add rub to other side of the wings.
Close lid for another 4 to 6 minutes or until done, and as always, remember to watch your fire.
