Seeing that we’re a family owned and operated hardware store we love all things local so we’ve rounded up some of Charlotte and North Carolina’s best snacks and and have made them available in our artisan snack aisle. You’ll find all the goodies plus some of our beyond local favorites near our check-out area.
Carolina Chocolate Company
This fine chocolate is hand-crafted by three friends at Lake Wylie. They specialize in handmade chocolate items, particularly candy bars, barks and dipped items. We are completely addicted to their chocolate and love all their creative flavors including Aztec, White Cranberry Almond and Dark Coconut Almond.
Brüks Bars
Brüks bars are gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free & egg-free health food bars with no sugar added so perfect for any allergen conscious snacker. They are as wholesome as they are tasty! Who can resist the temptation of Cherry Espresso or Apple Pecan? Charlotte-based founders Brooke and Sean are proud to use only real ingredients; a quality you can taste in their yummy bars!
The Gourmet Chip Company
If you’re more into savory than sweet snacks, fear not, we’ve got you covered! We’ve brought some of the most delicious potato chips to town. Asheville based Gourmet Chip Company makes a drool-inducing assortment of seasoned chips. I couldn’t leave Blackhawk without taking some Truffle Herb and Pisgah Wild Herb chips with me and neither one disappointed. Yummy! Other fun flavors include Southern BBQ and Smoked Hops & Cheddar.
