With the leaves turning, Halloween costume discussions and everything pumpkin, we are in the mood for fall inside and out. It should come as no surprise that I was browsing the Benjamin Moore paint department at Blackhawk Hardware in Charlotte and got inspired for this blog post: autumn-color painted rooms. Pallets of yellow, gold, orange, brown, and dusty green make for wonderfully cozy rooms. Which fall paint colors are you going to choose?
This dining room would be the perfect environment to enjoy Thanksgiving: the upper wall is in cozy Milk & Honey, the lower Caliente, and the hall way wall looks pretty in Honeymoon paint.
That same room got a harvest make-over and the upper wall is now looking dapper in Fall Harvest while the lower wall is painted in Natural Brown.
Should you be blessed to have a show-stealing fireplace with natural stone mantle, a golden yellow like Benjamin Moore’s Marblehead Gold will look great as an accent wall. The left wall is painted in Elk Horn.
If the thought of a pumpkin colored room makes you cringe, think again, this room’s wall color is Benjamin Moore’s Greenfield Pumpkin and the ceiling is painted in Pumpkin Seeds. Not quite the vivid orange you imagined, huh?
I mentioned leaves before and Benjamin Moore makes a great color called Autumn Leaf. Really goes well with this modern decor.
