If you are one of the lucky ones that get to work from home, you know how important a designated space is to being productive and getting stuff done. A home office or simply an office nook are where you’ll spend a hours making kibble. Aside from the occasional day spent with your laptop on the comfy sofa. Let’s be honest, we all do that every once in a while.
Some of the keys to a functional home office for me are:
- Create a friendly space that you will want to spend time in
- Have a comfortable chair and a desk at a height that works for you
- Keep supplies that you need around your desk space and use organizing solutions to create smart workflows
- Have a door that you can shut if family members tend to walk in on important conference calls
To create that happy yet calm office a fresh coat of paint may just do the trick. Since moving my home office from the new nursery to its new space on the lower level I now have walls in a plain vanilla color that the previous owners chose. Not really my cup of tea and it is absolutely too energy sucking to get much marketing work done there. Alas, I am sitting at our dining room table right now. Time to change it up! Here are some beautiful, calming home office paint colors by Benjamin Moore that I hope will inspire you, too, to spruce up your work space and get more done.
The walls are painted in Benjamin Moore Coventry Grey, while the desk and shelf sport a fresh coat of Split Pea.
Sunny Stuart Gold transforms this space into a sun-kissed, warm home office that motivates to get things done!
A lovely rose gold inspired, feminine version of the home office, with walls in stylish and not too girlish Chippendale Rosetone by Benjamin Moore.
A bold wall color makes the light furniture pop here. Tarrytown Green is an elegant choice, featuring blue tones in this petrol green.
