Blackhawk Hardware is excited to announce a new addition to our shop! DUNX Coffee has opened a location inside our store and is slinging coffee and beans to those in need of a caffeine boost (though decaf options are available).
You may have met owner Duncan St. Clair at the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market where he’s been putting a spring in customers’ steps on Fridays and Saturdays. As lovers of all things phenomenal and locally-owned / made we’re thrilled to have the man now brewing fresh craft coffee next to our free popcorn.
What makes DUNX so unique is the care they put into making you “the best coffee of your life.” The beans come from single source organic coffee growers. DUNX then roasts them in small batches right here in Charlotte to minimize the time between the roaster and your cup of coffee. DUNX offers all shades of coffee from Carolina Light, City Medium to French Dark and Imperial Dark. They then use sophisticated brewing methods like the Chemex brewing system for a super smooth experience.
If flavored coffee is your thing, Duncan and his team are happy to add one of these premium French flavors like vanilla or roasted hazelnut to your bevy!
After you’ve been wowed by your fresh coffee from DUNX, they’ll encourage you to take a bag of whole or freshly ground locally roasted beans home. We of course would rather have you come back to the store to enjoy a fresh cup and browse our merchandise but c’est la vie! 😉
