We’re currently expecting our first child and as I type this I can hear my husband making renovation noises in the future nursery. As first time parents we’ve been spending hours doing research on what are some of the must have baby products, what baby shampoo and diaper cream have the least amount of chemicals and so on. The same goes for the paint in baby’s nursery. I do not feel comfortable having paint that contains Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), the solvents that get released when paint dries, while being pregnant and especially in the room that our little one will be sleeping. Needless to say I was very excited to learn about Benjamin Moore’s line of NATURA® Zero VOC and Zero Emissions paint. Fellow parents-to-be will appreciate the line’s lack of VOCs, emissions, and harsh fumes and the asthma and allergy friendly certification it carries. NATURA is available in all Benjamin Moore colors and Blackhawk can match any color, say of a mobile, lamp or receiving blanket, in these finishes:
- flat
- eggshell
- semi-gloss
Of course nursery design choices are limitless but here is some painting inspiration from Benjamin Moore. Why not pick up a few paint chips and samples from Blackhawk Hardware at Park Road Shopping Center and just get creative!
