Blackhawk Hardware was started by the Wilkerson family in 1977.  Still owned and operated by the people who started it, Blackhawk is a unique experience – for customers as well employees.
In a time where businesses come and go, to be such a mainstay in the Charlotte community is a real blessing.  Because of our rich, consistent history, Blackhawk has a warm family-like atmosphere for all who come through the doors.We have people who used to come to the store as children, now grown up bringing in their children.  What’s more, we have employees that have been here from the store’s beginning.  Blackhawk is truly special, if we do say so ourselves.
We’re known for having that odd part or hard-to-find “whatchamacallit” you’re looking for.  On top of our selection, we have out-of-this-world customer service, which makes perfect sense for a hardware store recently selected as “Coolest Hardware Store On The Planet” out of all the ACE stores in the United States and over 70 countries.It is our goal to extend the in-store experience to our online customers.
