I don’t know about you but once we’re done with spring cleaning I usually feel like redecorating a room or two. Strangely enough, my husband never feels like that… But if you are like me and are in search of a great paint color for a room or a few you may appreciate Benjamin Moore’s paint color of the year 2015. This year’s color is Guilford Green, HC116. What a great paint color to freshen up any room! I am seriously impressed by how versatile this hue is and can imagine it looking really well in a multitude of rooms from dining room to entry way to family room to bathroom and even to a little boy’s nursery. It’s one of those colors that sets a pleasant mood without overpowering a room.

Guilford Green is part of Benjamin Moore’s Historical Collection that is comprised of 174 timeless hues. While predominantly based on colors popular in 18th and 19th century architecture, Benjamin Moore designed them to work just as well in contemporary spaces as in traditional homes. If you happen to be in Charlotte you can pick up samples of these popular hues at Blackhawk Hardware in Park Road Shopping Center.

For your enjoyment I have created a few room examples with Benjamin Moore’s Guilford Green. Happy Painting!
