Our friendly associates at Blackhawk Hardware’s paint department often get the question of which gray paint color to choose. The struggle is real with indefinite shades of paint that we can mix for you. So today we’re highlighting some of the greatest (or should we say “gray-test”) gray paint colors by Benjamin Moore.
Knoxville Gray
Part of the Benjamin Moore 2017 Color Trends collection, Knoxville Gray is a stylish, deep gray with green undertones. Bold yet grounding this paint color would work wonderful as an accent wall in a home office or modern dining room. Pair it with Gossamer Blue like we did in this office setting:
Chelsea Gray
Chelsea Gray is hailed as an urban gray that adds grace like a well-dressed gentleman and we agree. This shade would perfectly complement classy, urban sophistication found in many of Charlotte’s abodes. We love the look accomplished with Benjamin Moore’s Chelsea Gray paint and the pops of bright colors:
Revere Pewter
This popular, light gray is in any interior designer’s tool box and with good reason. Revere Pewter is an amazing go-to for whole houses and works beautiful in open floor plans. As a warm gray, this paint shade by Benjamin Moore creates a refined and inviting setting that lets your furniture and art work shine. We love how the white trim pops in this room:
Sandlot Gray
Another favorite from the 2017 Color Trends collection, Sandlot Gray, is a powdery, warm gray that reminds us of our favorite merino sweater – comforting and warm. Sandlot Gray creates a romantic, airy atmosphere. We’d love to wake up in this bed room painted in this rosy gray:
Eternity
You could go an eternity without repainting if you choose Benjamin Moore’s Eternity. Classy and timeless as can be, this shade of gray stands for solid sophistication. Don’t hesitate using Eternity in your home; perfect on its own and a great companion to that accent wall you’ve been dying to have. We’re loving this posh pairing of Eternity with Benjamin Moore’s Chambourd:
Alaskan Husky
Yeah, yeah, we get it, you may think we only picked this fabulous gray paint color because we love dogs (ironically, the upstairs wall color is called “Weimaraner”). But, truth be told, this is the perfect shade of gray. Your walls are no longer builder white, it’s classy and elegant, not too cool and not too. Alaskan Husky is just simply right. Give it a try!
