Dogs and Cats and More!

Blackhawk has really gone to the dogs (and cats)! Our expanded pet department has everything your furry friend could ask for, if they could talk. We carry several brands of dog food and treats in dry, canned, air-dried, freeze-dried, and frozen varieties from Taste of the Wild, Stella and Chewy’s, NutriSource, Farmina, Tucker’s, Ziwi Peak, Primal, Bocce’s Bakery, and Bubba Rose Biscuit Co. as well as several options of cat food and treats. As for pet accessories, we have bowls, leashes, collars, harnesses, beds, litter supplies, scratchers and more.

Did we mention dog toys? We have 48 feet of them! From tennis ball launchers and treat puzzles to squeaky toys and chew toys, Blackhawk has a toy that will get the energy out of any pup. We didn’t forget our kitty companions—while they may or may not decide to play with them, we offer catnip toys, balls, feathers and laser toys for cats too.

Who wants to wash Fido at home or take expensive trips to the groomers? Dog owners can give man’s best friend a bath at Blackhawk’s indoor iClean Dog Wash station, the first of its kind in North Carolina. Starting at $10, dogs can receive a 10-minute bath—including shampoo, conditioner, flea treatment, and a blow-out—from their trusted owners. Audio instructions are given in 27 languages or 50 celebrity voiceovers. All wash products are biodegradable and safe for the environment as well as for dogs.

Blackhawk is dog-friendly! Bring in your pup to help pick out their favorite toys and treats. Cats are also welcome, though we’re pretty certain they would prefer to stay at home and leave the shopping to others.
