Fall Trees and Bushes at Blackhawk’s Garden Center

Fall is the ideal time to plant new trees, bushes and shrubs in your yards. Blackhawk Hardware’s Garden Center currently has plants with the most beautiful textures and colors. Perfect to add a bit to your landscaping or replace struggling plants.

Selecting new bushes and trees right now gives you a great preview of their fall foliage and fruit. Take a look at how beautiful the golden fruit on this Gold Winterberry is! The berries stay well into winter for a stunning holiday display among bare stems.

The stunning red-leafed tree just behind the Winterberry is a Wedding Cake Tree. Well known for its tiered branch structure (think wedding cake!), this small tree becomes an excellent focal point in your Charlotte garden.

Another favorite tree of our Garden Center employees and customers alike is the Japanese Maple. We currently carry the popular Red Japanese Maple and Thread-Leaf Japanese Maple. Both of these compact trees have burgundy / red foliage year round and change to a stunning red/orange or yellow with copper and gold (Thread-Leaf).

Then of course there is our large collection of evergreens that shouldn’t be missing in any yard. Various neat textures keep them appealing all year long. How cute are these Christmas Tree like Dwarf Alberta Spruces?! Feel free to decorate them for the season. We also carry boxwoods, bay laurels and many other attractive evergreens that do well here in the Carolinas.
